MastiFest 2011 Terms and Conditions:

Clause I : Release and authorization to photograph or record

The MastiSpell Endowment may produce or participate in video, motion picture, audio recording, Web page or still photograph productions, broadcasting and/or publication which may involve the use of my participants name, likenesses or voices. Such productions will be used for non-commercial educational, exhibition, promotional, advertising or other purposes by the Endowment and will not be sold to other commercial systems or private professionals. Such productions may be copied, copyrighted, edited and distributed by the Endowment in the manner described above.

I understand that my and/or my child's name, likeness or voice may be used in the manner described above and grant the Endowment the right to use and reuse, in any manner, the video, motion picture, audio recording, Web page or still photograph productions, broadcasts and/or publications as described above. I release and discharge the Endowment from any and all claims, actions and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the video, motion picture, audio recording, Web page, or still photograph including, without limitation, any and all claims for invasion of privacy and defamation. This release shall inure to the benefits of the assigns, licenses and legal representatives of the Endowment, as well as the party(ies) for whom the Endowment took the video, motion picture, audio recording, Web page or still photograph.

Clause II : I agree and warrant and covenant as follows:

I know that Dandiya/Ras/Garbha dancing involving Dandiya sticks is fast-paced and hence a potentially hazardous activity and that I should not enter and dance unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of the organizing committee relative to my ability to safely dance at the event. I assume ALL risks associated with participating in this event including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants or their dandiya sticks, the effects of food being served at the event, including spices used and/or allergy causing ingredients such as nuts, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself and my family and for anyone entitled to act on our behalf, waive and release the organizers of the Masti Fest Group, and all other sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of me (or my family) in this event or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. Further I grant permission to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for legitimate purposes. I also agree to return my Dandiya sticks.

Clause III : Conduct by the Public : Adults and Children

1. The MastiSpell Endowment welcomes MastiFest kid/youth participants accompanied by at least one responsible Parent/Guardian.     Registration requests to register "minors only" will be turned down automatically.
2. Children and their safety are of great concern to MastiFest Event Organizers. We encourage families and youth to attend
MastiFest and, while doing so, also affirm parents' responsibility for their children's safety and upbringing.
3. Children, like all MastiFest patrons, are expected to behave appropriately. Parents and caregivers, not MastiFest staff, are
responsible for the behavior and supervision of their children at the MastiFest event.
4. An unattended child is a child of any age who is apparently unaccompanied by a parent or caregiver. Children who are unable or
unwilling to care for themselves may not be left alone at the event, and must have adequate supervision from a caregiver.
5. Parents and caregivers are advised that the MastiFest Event is being conducted in the facilities of a public school. At such
large events, as in all public places, "stranger danger" is a real concern. MastiFest staff cannot prevent children from interacting
with or leaving the Event venue with persons who are not appropriate caregivers.
6. The MastiSpell Endowment cannot be responsible for any consequences of caregivers forfeiting their responsibilities. MastiFest staff
may refer to appropriate authorities those children who are left unattended at the MastiFest Event.

Clause IV : Rules and Regulations

I have read the Rules and Regulations completely and agree to abide by the same.
